Scooby Doo

Originating from the animation studios of Hanna-Barbera, Scooby Doo along with his friends Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Shaggy Rogers, soon became a kids Saturday morning favourite. Scooby started as a guest character in another cartoon before gaining his own show in 1969. The original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (1969–70) are still loved today even with the new versions. Let's not forget (even though we may try to) his nephew Scrappy Doo who followed along in 1979.

Since then there have been many feature films, both animated and live action, comics, LPs, games and other merchandise to celebrate the mystery solving team. And remember, "If it wasn't for those pesky kids..."
