Asterix

"Asterix the Gaul", "Asterix and Obelix" or "The Adventures of Asterix" first appeared in October 1959 written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo and was were published in the Franco-Belgian comic magazine Pilote.

Since then the adventures of Asterix and friends fighting the Roman Republic have stretched across many publications and several media so that today their adventures are well known across the world.
